If you see the error 'Invalid QR code' when trying to install your eSIM, it typically means that your eSIM has already been installed.
To check if your eSIM has already been installed, you can:
On iOS:
1. Go to Settings > Cellular.
2. If you see the Nomad eSIM listed under the SIMs, that means your eSIM has already been installed. (the Nomad eSIM is usually the last eSIM in the list, if you have multiple eSIMs. It also will not have any phone number listed, as the eSIM is data-only).
On Android:
1. Go to Settings > SIM Manager (on Samsung devices), or Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile Network (on other Android devices)
2. If you see the Nomad eSIM listed, that means that your eSIM has already been installed.
(the Nomad eSIM is usually the last eSIM in the list, if you have multiple eSIMs. It also will not have any phone number listed, as the eSIM is data-only).
If you cannot find your eSIM on your device settings but still have an 'Invalid QR code' error while trying to install your eSIM, please contact customer service via our website chat or in-app chat on the iOS or Android app.
