The APN (Access Point Name) settings are important to ensure that your eSIM is able to access the local network properly and for the use of mobile data.
Automatic APN settings
In most cases, Nomad eSIMs will automatically configure your APN settings for you, so you shouldn't need to set them up.
Manual APN settings
However, for some devices, the APN does not always auto-configure, and in these cases you will be required to set the APN fields manually.
If you are configuring the APN manually, ensure that you enter "Nomad" in the "Name" field and use the APN detail from the APN provider list above, leaving other fields blank or at their default values.
First, you must find the name of your eSIM provider (Nomad sources eSIMs from multiple providers to give you the best network coverage) - do this either by checking your installation email or your plan details in the Manage page of your Nomad app or the Nomad Web Store. In the event you are unable to find your provider, please contact our customer support via live chat.
Additionally, double-check your current APN configuration to ensure it matches the provided information, and try toggling Airplane Mode on and off as a quick connection troubleshoot.
Once you know who your provider is, simply refer to the below instructions to set up your APN correctly. Note that in all cases, you should always leave "Username" and "Password" fields blank. Fill in ONLY the "APN" field with the correct setting.
