Your eSIM validity will start when it is activated.
You can - and you should - install your eSIM before your trip, since a stable internet connection is required for the installation of your eSIM. Installing your eSIM will not activate your eSIM.
When does my eSIM validity start?
Your Nomad eSIM validity begins only once activated, not at installation. You can install ahead of travel without starting the plan early.
