Generally, iMessage and FaceTime is often directed to your phone number, and Nomad eSIMs do not come with a number (data only). However, you can still use iMessage and FaceTime with data from Nomad eSIM, you just cannot use Nomad line as an address to send or receive iMessage/FaceTime requests.
Enabling iMessage with Nomad eSIM
1. In your iOS Settings, click into Message app and toggle on iMessage.
2. Directly below the iMessage toggle, there is a Send & Receive section. Click into the Send & Receive and select email address to which you want to send and receive (this cannot be the Nomad line). Generally, this is an email tied to your Apple ID or your icloud.com email.
Enabling FaceTime with Nomad eSIM
1. In your iOS Settings, click into FaceTime app and toggle on FaceTime
2. Directly below, there is a section titled 'You can be reached by FaceTime at'. You can tie the FaceTime to the email address to which you want to tie the application to (this cannot be the Nomad line). Generally, this is an email tied to your Apple ID or your icloud.com email.
