General Steps for Reinstalling Your eSIM

  1. Check for a QR Code: If you still have the original QR code provided after your eSIM purchase, you can use it to reinstall. Scan the QR code through your phone’s camera or appropriate settings (e.g., "Add eSIM" on iOS or "Enter Code Manually" on most phones).

  2. Restart Your Device: After deleting or encountering issues, restart your phone to refresh its settings before reinstallation.

Installation Instructions for iOS

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular/Mobile Data and tap Add Cellular Plan.

  2. Option A: Use the camera to scan the QR code.

  3. Option B: Follow manual installation: - Tap Enter Details Manually at the bottom.- Provide: - SM-DP+ Address (from Nomad support or purchase email).- Activation Code (also provided with your eSIM details).

  4. Ignore the Confirmation Code field as it’s not needed.

  5. Restart your phone and ensure the eSIM is set as the active cellular plan for data connectivity.

  2. Tap Add Carrier or the + icon.

  3. Option A: Scan the QR code with your device camera.

  5. Restart your phone and ensure the eSIM is enabled for use.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • Unable to Reinstall: Confirm whether your eSIM plan is still active. If inactive, you may need to purchase a new plan.

  • Device Not Connecting: - Disable Wi-Fi and Airplane Mode.- Ensure Cellular Data is switched to the Nomad eSIM. Restart the device again after reconfiguration.

  • Lost or Inaccessible QR Code: If you cannot find your QR code in emails or the Nomad app, contact Nomad Support to retrieve it.

  • Request Refund or Replacement: If all reinstallation efforts fail, you may be eligible for a refund in the form of Nomad Points, which can be used to purchase a new eSIM.

Preventive Advice

  • Avoid deleting an eSIM unnecessarily, as most QR codes are single-use, and reinstallation may require additional steps.

  • Always save copies of the QR code and activation details immediately after purchase for future reference.

These comprehensive guidelines should help you troubleshoot and reinstall your eSIM with ease. If further assistance is required, don't hesitate to contact Nomad Support.
