What is Joypolis?

Located in Odaiba, Joypolis is one of the largest indoor amusement parks in Japan. This indoor amusement park is created by SEGA, and for those who are familiar with SEGA games, you might be glad to know that you will be able to find attractions and games at Joypolis related to your favourite SEGA games like Ace Attorney and Sonic. You will also be able to find attractions related to popular franchises like Attack on Titan and Transformers.

The three-floor amusement park features over 20 attractions and games suitable for visitors of all ages.

What to expect at Joypolis?

But, if you are looking for an extremely thrilling and scary ride, you'll probably have to manage your expectations -- you are not going to get rides as thrilling and scary as those that you see in major theme parks. Though considering this is after all an indoor amusement park, we should probably have guessed.

How much time to spend at Joypolis?

You can easily spend about half a day at Joypolis. After you are done at Joypolis, you can continue spending the rest of the day at Odaiba - there is plenty of entertainment options there aside from Joypolis. Have a meal at the restaurants along the Odaiba Seaside Park and enjoy stunning views of the Tokyo Bay and Rainbow Bridge.

How to get tickets to Joypolis?

For the best deals, get your one-day passport to Joypolis in advance from Klook. The one-day passport ticket includes both admissions and rides, and comes with the option for free cancellation before redemption, which helps if your plans are rather fluid.

But,

  • If you are not planning to take the rides, you can getting just the admission ticket at the door on the day of your visit instead. If you only have the admission ticket, you will still be able to enjoy the rides, but at additional costs.
