Explore the island located in the middle of the Hangang River

· 1 min read

Nodeulseom (Nodeul Island) is a small, artificial island situated near the southern end of the river, and located under the Han River Bridge connecting Yongsan and Noryangjin. The island only opened in 2019 as a recreational area, but was forced to temporarily shut its doors due to the pandemic shortly after. In the post-pandemic era, Nodeulseom has been gaining popularity as a place for dates and picnics. For viewers of the Korean drama, Start-up, you will also find Nodeul Island very familiar as the real-life location of SANDBOX island that was featured in the show.
