Nomad eSIM works on 100+ eSIM compatible devices- smartphones, tablets and laptops. A complete list can be found here. As device manufacturers launch new eSIM devices these will also be supported. Nomad eSIM is not designed for IOT devices currently.
Nomad’s enterprise eSIM solution is available to businesses worldwide. Our eSIMs provide connectivity in over 170 destinations worldwide. You can find all available destinations here.
iOS currently allows you to store up to 8 eSIM profiles stored on your device and you may have up to 2 eSIM profiles active at any one time (based on iPhone capability). A user can decide eSIM profile is active under the iOS Settings > Cellular.
Yes, Nomad’s eSIMs for enterprises support hotspot and tethering. Business travelers can use the data from Nomad’s eSIMs as a hotspot for laptops when there is no Wi-Fi available on the road.
If the Mi-Fi device is compatible with the mobile network, Nomad eSIM will be able to provide data connectivity. The Mi-Fi device must support installation of the eSIM via QR code.
Admin users of Nomad’s Enterprise Solution can distribute the eSIMs to their employees or business travelers through Nomad’s Web Portal for Enterprise eSIMs.
Yes, you can monitor the status and volume of data used for all assigned Nomad Enterprise eSIMs through the Web Portal for Enterprise eSIMs.
Yes, you can add as many admin users as needed to the Nomad Web Portal for eSIMs. They will have the same access as the main Administrator.
Yes, two factor authentication (TFA) is supported by default on Web Portal for Enterprise eSIMs via email.
Your employee needs to have an eSIM-compatible device. They will also need to have a Nomad Traveler Account to receive the eSIMs assigned to them. If they are new to Nomad, a new Nomad Travelers Account will be systematically created for the assigned employees or business travelers.
Yes, they can top up the eSIM with their Nomad Travelers Account. However, the purchase with the Nomad Travelers Account requires a credit card or other digital payment methods and will not be attributed to the company’s account at this moment. Business travelers can request a receipt for this top-up for reimbursement.
Yes, the top-up gets its own validity. It will last for 30 days in the example above.
Nomad billing is pay as you go with 7 payment options available and five currencies methods. Post-paid billing is available so a company can receive and pay an invoice monthly for their usage.
Yes, Nomad eSIM Enterprise can integrate with external expense management systems. It is API and partner friendly and there may be a cost for the integration work depending on the scope and nature of the integration.
No, this limitation is set by Apple and Google at the OS level where there is one eSIM per device.
